Penitent's End in Wuthering Waves is that one neighborhood in Rinascita where players go to escape The Order, only to be greeted by a giant dragon and a bunch of enemies who think they're a piñata. But hey, at least there are Sonance Caskets! As of 2026, this treacherous region holds 17 of them, and while it would be lovely to detail all 17, the other seven are probably hiding in a cave somewhere, laughing at the player's map-reading skills. Here are ten of them, because who doesn't love a good scavenger hunt while being chased by a dragon?

1. The Bridge Casket

The first Sonance Casket in Penitent's End is practically begging to be found. As soon as the player crosses the bridge from Wailing Ascent, there it is, floating in the middle of the road like it owns the place. If they have already unlocked the Resonance Beacon at the south of the island, they can just head off the cliff in front of them to see it. Why is a casket sitting on a road? Because logic took a vacation in Rinascita, that's why.

2. The Waterfall Cave Casket

From the previous spot, the player should head down the road and use the white cat's paw to zip along faster. Keep going until they hit a water body with a waterfall, then head up the waterfall to their left. They can steer the echo gondola to take them up, and they'll enter a cave. The Sonance Casket is to their right on a platform near the cave wall. Who knew caskets liked cave views?

3. The Bone Camp Casket

From the cave, head right towards the exit, and the player will come to a 'camp' of sorts with some bone fragments lying about. Use the Cuddly Wuddly's ability to jump to the top of the camp, then climb the bone fragments to reach the platform. They can use the grapple ability to grab the Sonance Casket in the air. Is it just anyone's imagination, or does this feel like a casket designed by a sadistic architect?

4. The Plushie Squad Tent Casket

From the previous location, the player should look in front of them and they'll spot another camp with the Plushie Squad inhabiting it. Head inside the big tent and they'll find the Sonance Casket to their right. Apparently, even plushies need a casket or two. Who's going to tell them it's not a toy?

5. The Shipwreck Casket

Next, from the Plushie Squad camp, head out behind the tent and grab a ride from the Wingray near the edge of the cliff. Use the Wingray's ability to fly north of the island and towards a shipwreck. The Sonance Casket will be on the lower decks behind some boxes. Because nothing says 'treasure' like a casket hidden behind crates on a broken ship.

6. The Bone Fragment Casket

Teleport to the Resonance Beacon northwest of the island. Just a couple meters away, the player will find a bone fragment. All they need to do is climb it and grab the Sonance Casket at the top. Easy, right? Unless they're afraid of heights, in which case, why are they playing this game?

7. The Tree Log Casket

Once the player has taken the previous Sonance Casket, they should jump off the bone fragment and head all the way down the cliff to find another Sonance Casket on a tree log. This one is located above the Fractsidus Camp. A casket on a log? That's not suspicious at all.

8. The Waterfall Decks Casket

Teleport back to the same Resonance Beacon and head northeast on the map towards another Fractsidus Camp. The player needs to go past the camp and towards a series of waterfalls. Once they reach the waterfalls, they should jump off the cliff and glide left towards some wooden decks embedded into the cliff wall. The Sonance Casket will be there on the lowest one. Who builds decks on a cliff? The same people who put caskets on them, apparently.

9. The Dragon's Neighbor Casket

This Sonance Casket lies at the very top of Penitent's End, near the Dragon of Dirge boss arena. The player can teleport to the Resonance Nexus and head up the mountain to the battle area. They need to climb the bone fragment above the boss arena, so just head right and scale the structure to reach the top. The Sonance Casket will be at the very end, and they can use their grapple ability to grab it. Because why fight a dragon when one can just steal its neighbor's casket?

10. The Fool's Elysium Casket

This Sonance Casket is located near the Fool's Elysium cave. The player should have already unlocked these underground Resonance Beacons through the main Rinascita quest, so they can just teleport to the one closest to the Cave Entrance and head behind them to go outside. They essentially need to head towards the Cave Entrance to find the Sonance Casket floating on the water. There will be a gondola nearby for them to steer towards the Sonance Casket. Floating casket? Sure, why not. It's not like physics matters here.

And there you have it—ten of the seventeen Sonance Caskets in Penitent's End. The other seven? They're probably in a support group for caskets that are tired of being found.
